Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform
system-level and detailed design and support of software systems for power
conversion products.
Implement
and support real time OS products or add-ons to support data acquisition
and system control functions including remote communications.
Develop
innovative communication and control applications for power electronic
systems.
Create
or assist in the creation of support documents for software.
Assist
in the test and debug of software for production.
Perform
system integration under Windows and embedded control platforms.
Develop,
debug and support Microcontroller/DSP programs using "C/C++" language.
Design,
debug, and guide others in the development of various modules and systems.
Make modifications or improvements to existing and special projects.
Maintain
a proactive posture towards reusability and quality.
Be involved
in departmental and personal quality and regulatory programs.
Proactively
define and suggest improvements to the design-engineering environment as
well as areas unrelated to engineering.
Design
and develop embedded real time control software which incorporates data
acquisition, signal processing, closed loop control and power semiconductor
gate signal.
EDUCATION: B.S.
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
or a related discipline and 7-10 years experience in embedded software
development. A Masters degree is desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
Thorough knowledge
of C programming required. C++ and Object Oriented programming a plus.
Experience with a visual development package such as Microsoft Visual Studio.Net
helpful.
Thorough knowledge
of microcontrollers and DSPs. Experience with Motorola 56800 DSP
family desired. Experience with TI C2000 DSP family helpful.
Thorough knowledge
of communications techniques including network protocols. Experience
with CAN protocol desired. Experience with industrial field bus protocols

Thorough knowledge

Maintenance
Director, Lima, OH to 120K
The Maintenance
Director is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation,
distributed controls and inspection personnel as well as engineering services,
maintenance expenditures, turnaround planning and execution. In this
role, you will oversee preventative maintenance, reliability, quality,
and productivity improvements. The Maintenance Director leads efforts
and provides technical expertise on all maintenance projects, in conjunction
with other refinery directors, to identify problems and provide resolutions
for the designing, installation and maintenance of refinery equipment.
Responsibilities:
·
Manage mechanical, electrical and instrumentation departments' activities,
which involve scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, problem resolution,
repairs and new equipment installation. Oversee contractors' tasks
and projects lead times and costs.
·
In conjunction with other refinery managers, will provide technical maintenance
expertise in the identification, development, and implementation of engineering
programs targeted at eliminating waste, reducing costs and improving the
refinery's overall technical performance.
·
Manage and directs maintenance craft and support employees' skills training
and development, performance analysis, discipline, manpower scheduling,
and work flow.
·
Establish operational procedures and policies for maintenance personnel
to sustain, and adherence to best and safe practices.
·
Plan, estimate and proficiently complete major maintenance projects during
refinery shut down schedules and turnarounds in accordance with operations
scheduling requirements
·
Extensive knowledge and experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) elements
including: Inspection of vessels, exchangers and tanks preventive maintenance
of safety devices including procedures, and inspection and testing of relief
devices related to Mechanical Integrity; Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup
Safety Review; Maintenance Procedures and Work Permits.

Champions the Operations Maintenance Integration Program as well as the
continuous improvement and defect elimination process.
·
Oversees planning, budgeting and execution of turnarounds.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate
will have the following qualifications:

Minimum 10 yrs. chemical facility or petroleum refinery maintenance experience.
·
Minimum 5 yrs. progressive management experience in a supervisor to manager
role.
·
B.S. degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
·
Familiar with OSHA and EPA standards for extensive knowledge PSM, MOC,
and RMP compliance.

Presently searching
for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus in Heat Transfer
/ Product Development to design, develop and document a new heat transfer
product line. The current product offering consists of Temperature
Control Units, Chiller, Pump Tanks, Heat Exchangers, etc.
Fully design and
develop a Heat Transfer product line based on marketing requirements and
sales specifications. Work with other teams in the organization to
provide a product design that can be manufactured and assembled in a competitive
and cost effective manner while maintaining product integrity.
Work with limited direction to apply engineering principles to design and
develop Heat Transfer products from a marketing plan, general verbal instructions,
sketches, and or existing models.
Responsible
for all heat transfer new product engineering functions including but not
limited to: design new products based on performance and cost requirements,
system calculations and technical details, all technical product documentation,
product performance, etc.
Direct
resources on product design and documentation tasks as required.
Participate
in cross functional teams to ensure product meets market requirements (content,
performance and cost), evaluate potential component suppliers, streamline
assembly and fabrication processes, etc.
Maintain
current heat transfer product line and the new product line when released.
Provide
technical support to sales, service, fabrication and assembly.
Bachelors
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
3 10
years experience in Heat Transfer product design and product manufacturing.
Experience
with sizing and application of refrigeration systems, water systems and
related components (heat exchangers, refrigerant controls, compressors,
water pumps, etc).
Knowledge
of commonly used Engineering concepts, practices, and procedures within
the mechanical design field.
Experience
with 3D modeling and software, preferably SolidWorks. Experience
with AutoCAD not required but would be a plus.
